Juneteenth Reflections: Amplifying Diverse Voices in the Workplace and Beyond
Nestlé Health Science Encourages Education and Engagement
We’re proud to honor and recognize Juneteenth, the 19th of June, as the commemoration of the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S.
This year we are inviting all Nestlé Health Science members to learn from and actively participate in Juneteenth programming, including a panel discussion on the connection between Black farmers and Juneteenth and an ongoing food drive to help support local communities.
"In honor of Juneteenth, we encourage our team members to engage in conversations and share their perspectives to help foster a deeper appreciation for Juneteenth’s historical and cultural significance,” said Laurel Catlett-King, Vice President and Head of HR, Nestlé Health Science.
In the spirit of amplifying diverse voices in the workplace and beyond, we asked a few of our colleagues to share their thoughts on what Juneteenth means to them and how we can all embrace the meaning behind this important milestone, today and every day. Check out the video below.
